There are approximately 7,700 children in the foster care system in Mississippi and more than 60,000 kids nationally that are in group homes and institutions instead of with foster families—a number that is unacceptably high. We believe that there is a fatherlessness pandemic in our country and around the world, and a multifaceted approach to this complicated problem is necessary. While we are an adoption agency at our core, we are creating ways to partner with the Mississippi Department of Human Services and other organizations that are caring for children of all ages.
